Irina Dumitrescu studied English and medieval literature at the University of Toronto and Yale. She was a visiting scholar at Columbia before beginning her first job as an assistant professor at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She was then an Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the Freie Universität Berlin, in 2014 was appointed Junior Professor for English Medieval Studies at the University of Bonn, and in 2017 became Professor of English Medieval Studies. She is also an essayist and critic.

If you have submitted your paper by email and received an email confirmation of receipt from Prof. Dumitrescu, you do not need to do anything.

If you have not submitted the paper digitally, or if you have not received a confirmation, please send it to her (again).

 

For writers or publishers outside of the EU wishing to have their books reviewed:

Please contact me by email before sending your book. German customs now charges the recipient significant tolls and fees on each incoming package, sometimes equalling the cost of the book. If I cannot tell what book is being sent I may be forced to decline and return the package to sender.
