RSV is back and going digital!

After our Corona-break, the student lecture series (re)searching voices (RSV) is back for the coming winter semester.

According to the university's current regulations, we still won't be able to meet in person next semester, therefore we’ve decided to go digital!

Join us for fortnightly Zoom meetings starting at the beginning of November. You can either participate as a listener, but we would be delighted if you could imagine yourself giving a short talk.

If you’d like to do so, the talk should be either 20 or 45 minutes long and deal with any (literary, cultural or linguistic) topic that you're passionate about. Please send us an e-mail including a rough description of the topic and a preliminary title until 1st November.

We would like to stress again that we do not expect impeccably scholarly or perfectly argued papers. You are very welcome to present rough ideas (for term papers or your bachelor's or master's thesis) or even discuss an article or a (non-)fictional book that caught your scholarly interest.

We will get back to you in the first week of November and arrange dates for those of you who would like to share their research interests via Doodle. Depending on the number of abstracts we will get, we plan on hosting our Zoom meetings every second Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 pm.

We are looking forward to chatting with you over a cup of tea. Also tell your friends and fellow students who could possibly be interested in either giving a talk or listening to those of others.

All the best,

Marie, Marvin and Peri
