18. Studientag zum Englischen Mittelalter (SEM XVIII)
The 18th SEM will take place from 3rd-5th March 2016 at the Department of English, American and Celtic Studies, Bonn University, Germany.
SEM offers a platform for advanced students to present their work in the field of English Medieval Studies to a forum of students and scholars. Topics may include any area concerning the research and teaching of the language, literature, culture and history of the Middle Ages in England. Papers will be circulated prior to the conference; at the conference, senior scholars will present the papers by summarizing them, offering their feedback, and leading discussion.
SEM offers a unique opportunity for up-and-coming medievalists to take their first steps on the academic stage in an open and friendly environment, to test and improve their ideas, and to become part of an inspiring network of scholars. We welcome abstracts in English or German.
