Hanna Bruns will give an online guest presentation about “Abwägung: Inklusivität vs sperrige Sprache” – Einstellungen und argumentative Begründungen zur geschlechterinklusiven Sprache at the Gesellschaft für deutsche Sprache (GfDS), London. The talk will be held in German and can be accessed via a Zoom link published on the GfDS-website. Hanna Bruns will discuss latest poll ratings about current attitudes toward gender-inclusive language and their reasonings. A thematic analysis shows that using gender-inclusive language appears to be a decision between inclusivity and practicality for most people.
