Research Interests

Pursuing my interests in computational linguistics, I worked at the Fraunhofer FKIE in the area of information analysis as a student assistant. In my master thesis, I investigated how generative artificial intelligences interpret syntactic ambiguities.

I also harbor an interest in language processing with a focus on how humans interpret semantic and syntactic ambiguities. In the area of pragmatics, I am especially interested in (im)politeness in different languages, with further interests in discourse analysis.

I am currently in the process of establishing an idea for a dissertation project to pursue a PhD in the area of computational linguistics in the future.
