Prof. Svenja Kranich and Hanna Bruns, M.A., participated in the first meeting of the new “DFG-Netzwerk Queerlinguistik” in Hamburg from September 11th to 13th. The network aims to advance, make visible, and establish research on language, gender and sexuality in Germany. Queer linguistics explores the complex interconnections between language, gender, and sexuality, enriched by critical perspectives on power and normativity.
